Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 4 (TPS4) to report to the Lead Design Build Coordinator within the Olympic Region’s Design Build and Progressive Design Build Unit in the Environmental & Hydraulic Services (EHS) Office. This position prepares environmental documents and reviews environmental permit applications required to authorize the construction of transportation facilities throughout the Olympic Region. The position is responsible for determining the need for supporting documentation and investigations required for environmental review and permits on Design Build and Progressive Design Build projects. They are also responsible for planning, leading, and directing project teams to ensure design-build delivery complies with local, state and federal environmental, rules and regulations while complying with WSDOT environmental policy and practice.
