Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related
- 10+ years of experience in engineering working in rail planning, passenger rail operations, fleet management, and/or rolling stock procurement/deployment
- Must have experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in CA required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience in Intercity, Regional, Urban Light/Heavy Rail operations, and transportation project design including track, signaling, and facilities
- Knowledge in civil infrastructure planning, FRA/FTA standards, with a preference for PTC and CBTC experience
- Lead and support engineering projects in the rail sector from concept to completion, ensuring excellence in technical, financial, and operational standards
- Collaborate with consultants and clients to develop and implement solutions in rail planning, strategy, procurement, maintenance, and infrastructure

Salary: $170,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus potential.
