Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to lead our dynamic team in delivering the Design/Construction phases of multiple engineering projects. As the Team Leader, you will report to the Assistant/Project Engineer, providing essential project status updates to management. Your role involves direct supervision and mentoring of up to eight Engineers and Technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Effective communication and coordination of Design/Construction activities with various stakeholders, specialty groups, and local entities are paramount. Leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience, you'll play a crucial role in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating contract plans and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with WSDOT standards and specifications.
