Job Description:
I am seeking a structural engineer with bridge/structural experience to join my clients Structural Engineering department and assist with the delivery of transportation and structures projects throughout Illinois. The role will blend technical expertise with project management to a level commensurate to the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, and motivation.
Typical Duties:
Design of structural elements and contract document preparation (plans, specifications, estimates)
Management of project budget and schedule.
Ability to design projects from preliminary planning through final engineering.
Coordination and communication with clients, sub-consultants, and project team members.
Quality review of work products.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in bridge/structural engineering.
MicroStation capabilities
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Bachelors (minimum) and/or master’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
