Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Planner and Purchaser opportunity include:

- Purchasing experience in Metal Manufacturing required; CNC shop purchasing preferred
- Experience using QuickBooks, Prodsmart, or any ERP/MRP software
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred
- Collaborate with suppliers for efficient sourcing and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess and develop production schedules aligned with demand
- Ensure production efficiency and adjust plans for demand changes or issues
- Implement inventory control and analyze data for improvement, aiming to reduce lead times and increase turnover
- Utilize software for planning and analysis, negotiate cost savings with suppliers, and adhere to budget compliance

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
