We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join us at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Whitmore Lake, Michigan! Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years of related engineering experience
- Proficiency in PLC development/testing with Rockwell and Siemens, and HMI development
- Experience in robot control/interface (ABB, FANUC, EPSON) and safety controllers (GuardLogix, PILZ, ProfiSafe)
- Knowledge of Field Bus IO (DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus) and VFD/Servo Motor control
- Ability to develop documentation/drawings
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
- Participate in development meetings, work with customer standards and engineers, and handle installation and troubleshooting of hardware and peripherals
- Identify and resolve complex problems, and offer engineering solutions and technical support from project initiation to completion, including on-site assistance

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
