Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Design Build Site Manager to provide leadership, management, and oversite to the Olympic Region Construction and Project Development Office, which is responsible for the delivery of design-build and/or design-build construction projects. This position monitors and reports on delivery in conformance with the department’s expectations for transparency and accountability. This position ensures, through effective management controls and adherence to WSDOT policies, that construction contracts are administered to the expected quality, safety, and stewardship standards. This Design Build Site Manager provides staff a balanced workplace, which promotes training and development for professional growth and upward mobility, employee safety, workforce diversity, and pride in ownership. They also serve as a local WSDOT representative to legislators, local agencies, industry, and the public.
