$8,994 – $11,530 Monthly
Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) Transportation Safety and System Analysis Division is currently seeking an experienced Deputy State Safety Engineer in Olympia, WA to lead and implement strategies and tactics to improve road safety. The top candidate will develop and implement policies, processes, and guidance that results in a well performing safety program with the goal of reducing fatal and serious crashes statewide. This incumbent will oversee compliance with Federal Regulatory requirements for the highway safety and rail highway crossing safety plans and develops plans, programs, countermeasures, and assessments of safety performance for Washington’s roads.
