• Reviews plans, specifications, and engineering reports for new
  or modified public water systems for the Texas Commission on
  Environmental Quality (TCEQ), ensuring compliance with
  applicable regulations.

• Coordinates or performs technical data collection, research,
  analysis, evaluations, inspections, or surveys and evaluates
  impacts.

• May supervise, coordinate, and review the work of others, and
  may be assisted on projects by engineers, other professionals,
  or technicians

• Makes and records observations and measurements.

• Work may result in the development of new or refined
  techniques, procedures, equipment, processes, products, and/or
  scientific methods

• May coordinate the work of division level technical staff.

• Performs other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in data analysis,
  environmental quality management, public utilities, business administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and one year experience in
  hydraulics or other civil engineering areas.
