Qualifications and responsibilities for this Applications Engineer opportunity include:

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Technical Degree
- 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems, computer equipment, networking software and communications
- Networking (hardware & software), Communication (wireless, lease line, microwave, etc.), and Protocols (programming, configuration, etc.)
- Database knowledge including SQL, ODBC, Oracle, and third-party solutions
- Experience with server (enterprise) installation and configuration, ACAD, schematic reading, mechanical design, parts lists, and layout
- Familiarity with HMI products, DCS systems, and MBTF calculations
- Evaluate RFQ specifications and decide on quoting, preparing price quotations and terms
- Create parts lists and system proposals using standard equipment
- Collaborate with field sales and communicate with customers to ascertain their needs
- Provide technical knowledge support to the Hardware Order Administrator, follow ISO 9001 procedures, and travel when necessary

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
