Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Technician 3 to support the Olympic Region (OR) Materials/General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Administration Office. The Transportation Technician 3 independently performs skilled journey level technical engineering work in support of transportation construction, design, and general office support. This position provides essential support in monitoring contractor’s activities during construction and ensuring project work is performed in accordance with contract documents. They independently perform materials sampling, testing and acceptance procedures, and assist project inspectors in performing daily inspection and audits of work performed.
