Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer opportunity include:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience with plumbing and fire protection design for new construction projects
- Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier Trane Trace, Sustainable design methodologies or Energy modeling
- Prepare mechanical construction documents for various building sectors like retail, restaurant, office, and multifamily residential
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems, including equipment, piping, and specifications
- Conduct load calculations, pipe sizing, and other mechanical design support calculations
- Review mechanical documents for conflicts with other building systems and ensure close coordination with clients and the design team for a cohesive and client-aligned design
- Conduct site visits for surveys and accuracy checks, participate actively in project meetings, and provide mentoring and guidance to colleagues

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
