Seattle, WA – Northwest Region
$118,872 - $152,436 Annually
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking an experience profession to serve as the I-5 Program Manager in the Northwest Region. This newly established position will serve as the I-5 Program Manager for the Cascadia High-Speed Rail and I-5 Program (the Program), is necessary to comply with legislative direction provided in the 2023-2025 transportation budget proviso. This position supports a complex and long term program to deliver evaluation studies, plans, financing, environmental reviews, design, construction and operation of major multimodal corridor projects and integrated mobility systems related to significant efforts to maximize transportation system performance including: I-5 Corridor Planning which spans from the Canadian border to the Oregon border and Cascadia High-Speed Rail (Cascadia HSR), formerly Ultra-High-Speed Ground Transportation (UHSGT), which spans from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, B.C. and is being conducted in partnership with the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (BC MoTI), Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), and Oregon Metro. The program will also consider the effects and interaction with air mobility planning in the region. The Program will use a centralized Program Management Office (PMO) and General Engineering Consultant (GEC) contracting and resources to set-up, organize, and direct this complex program.
