Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 4 to serve as the Environmental Justice & Equity GIS Analyst within the Multimodal Planning and Data Division's (MPDD) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Roadway Data Office. The top candidate will provide leadership, consultation, and expert services as a geospatial data analyst and GIS data steward for environmental justice (EJ) and other equity-based decision-making and planning related efforts, including but not limited to implementing the Healthy Environment for All (HEAL) Act. This position’s work will help to meet the agency’s strategic plan goals of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in conjunction with state-level EJ requirements.
