Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and customer-focused professional to be the Climate Planning Compliance Lead. This Transportation Planning Specialist 4 position leads in the development, coordination, and tracking of WSDOT’s greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategies and actions and ensures compliance with climate change laws. The top candidate will support the Environmental Services Office’s mission in this role by acting as a statewide agency expert in greenhouse gas emissions reduction planning, ensuring compliance with climate policy, rules and regulations, and supporting WSDOT’s consistent approach to interpreting laws and implementation of clean transportation programs.
