Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and customer-focused professional to be the Greenhouse Gas Technical Compliance Lead. This Transportation Planning Specialist 4 position leads in the selection of methods and development and use of tools to assess, report on, and forecast the effectiveness of transportation investments in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The top candidate will support the Environmental Services Office’s mission in this role by acting as a statewide agency technical expert on greenhouse gas evaluation techniques and supporting WSDOT’s consistent approach to interpreting laws and implementation of clean transportation programs.
