Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Technician 3 (In-Training). In alignment with our mission to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options, this role actively contributes to the Bellingham Project Engineering Office (PEO) project team. Engaging in design development, contract development, and construction management of highway improvement and preservation projects, this position plays a key role in preparing and reviewing plans, conducting topographic surveys, and overseeing construction inspection. This position directly supports our mission by ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring that highway construction projects meet the highest standards in design, construction, and administration.
