Job Description:
Currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join my clients dynamic team who specialize in highway lighting design. As an integral part of our organization, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and implementation of innovative lighting solutions for highway infrastructure projects. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge designs that illuminate and enhance our roadways. Responsibilities
Design and/or review of roadway and site lighting; electrical circuits; ITS, communications and similar transportation related facilities
Design and/or review of load calculations, circuit and conductor sizing calculations, protective device coordination studies, arc flash calculations, etc.
Complete power distribution plan designs, single line drawings, grounding plans panel schedules, cable schedules, schematics, interconnect diagrams, heat trace drawings etc.
Develop and/or review of equipment data sheets, submittal reviews and approvals.
Cost and schedule estimating and fee proposal development
Proficiency with Microstation and/or Autocad, Word and Excel
PE license in NJ, NY, PA and/or Illinois preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum of BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Minimum of five to ten years of progressive EE design experience preferred.
Familiarity with electrical systems and equipment
