Qualifications and responsibilities for this Traffic Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in analysis of traffic related issues, design of transportation projects, regulatory experience and/or knowledge with State and Federal agencies, project management, cost estimating and scheduling
- Florida Professional Engineer License or registration as a Professional Engineer in another state and successfully obtain Florida P.E. within 9 months of hire
- Must have Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control certification within 6 months of hire
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering design principles and practices regarding transportation and traffic design, drainage, permitting, and construction inspections
- Knowledge of MUTCD, FDOT design standards, FDOT Green Book standards and regulations

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
