Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Construction Traffic Engineer (WMS2) to play a pivotal role in supporting our mission of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation. Operating independently and collaboratively with the Construction Traffic Manager, this position provides strategic traffic analysis support for major corridor projects and programs in the NW Region, influencing project scope delivery and ensuring workforce and public safety. Covering one of the country's most complex and congested regions, this role contributes directly to our commitment to highway safety and public confidence. The Construction Traffic Engineer collaborates closely with regional leadership, represents WSDOT in crucial decision-making meetings, and manages traffic operations, including speed limit assessment.
