Principal Engineer - System Planning - Remote Eligible

 

 

currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer, System Planning, to join their dynamic team.

 

Position Overview:

As the Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Tariff production, NERC planning, and Engineering initiative activities. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance, representing company in industry and regulatory settings, and supporting the development and improvement of Tariff and NERC processes. Your deep understanding of the clients transmission grid and planning processes will be crucial in ensuring the reliability of the client’s transmission system.

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering).

• 15 years of relevant Engineering experience OR 13 years with an advanced degree.

• Professional Engineer license preferred but not mandatory.

• Advanced proficiency in power systems analysis tools and knowledge of governing documents.

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time position operating in a professional office environment with standard office equipment. Minimal travel (0-20%) may be required.
