Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 4 (TE4) to support the agency’s mission of providing a safe, sustainable, integrated multimodal transportation system by acting as the Active Transportation Program Specialist within the Olympic Region Traffic Office, reporting to the Traffic Operations Engineer. The position serves as the policy, planning, engineering and operations expert for pedestrian, bicycle, and transit access design & operations. WSDOT’s mission will be advanced through identifying needs and incorporating pedestrian, bicycle, and transit elements or enhancements in projects. The TE4 will follow through building and overseeing operations of the active transportation group within the Olympic Region Traffic.
