JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• We have a Civil Engineer position open in our Portsmouth, NH location.
• In addition to supporting projects throughout New England, these positions will support our clients and firm offices nationwide.
• Unique career advancement opportunity within an engaging, dynamic, and expanding multi-disciplinary group of Architects and Engineers.
• This person will be supporting diverse projects involving vertical construction and other related Civil Engineering tasks in commercial, industrial, and Federal markets.
• This position will provide engineering and design responsibilities for multiple projects ranging in construction value from $100k to $100M.
• Mentoring of junior engineers and supervision of sub-consultants such as fire protection, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and environmental engineers will be expected.

 
 
Must have:
 

• Minimum 5 Yrs. of relevant work experience at A-E consulting firm, manufacturing firm or construction firm
• Hands on with CAD and BIM software including Autodesk™ (Civil 3D™), HydroCAD™
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer
• Federal/DoD design standards and guides
• Public presentation capabilities
• Experienced in industry design standards (e.g., LID) and adept at leading innovation.
• Familiar with current planning/zoning standards and industry codes (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, ANSI, etc.).
• Understanding of Environmental, Architecture, Structural, and MEP engineering disciplines.

 
Nice to have:
 

• Revit
• Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states nationwide.
• Ability to obtain security clearance at active U.S. DoD installations nationwide.
