Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Project Management, adhering to the stage-gated Project Management Process from project scope development through commissioning and startup.
• Independently make decisions on work methods and procedures within the project scope.
• Focus on Project Controls, including the preparation of budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans for multi-discipline resources, incorporating best practices in cost control, risk analysis, and schedule stewardship.
• Manage and control projects to ensure economical and timely objectives, meeting applicable standards, procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Adhere to MOC processes, with proper documentation recorded to align with Process Safety Management requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 5+ years experience in project engineering/ management at chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, or related PSM-regulated plants.
• Demonstrated abilities to coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams of engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel. and engineering/construction progress reporting.
• Experienced with scoping, planning, and project execution issues.
• PMP certification preferred.
