Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to apply engineering principles and procedures to solve complex transportation problems, while functioning in an independent capacity to identify critical issues, monitor construction progress, identify changes, evaluate work for conformance with contract requirements, and monitor performance of project’s quality program. This position provides leadership, assigns tasks to engineers and technicians, establishes expectations, monitors their work, provides performance feedback, and holds them accountable for delivering acceptable results. The Transportation Engineer 3 is a representative of WSDOT with local agencies, contractors, consultants, and the public.
