Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer 3 to support the agency by providing support in the review of contract Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E), as well as providing Ad & Award support and quality assurance to region project offices for a variety of transportation projects that build and preserve our transportation infrastructure. This position also serves as the Olympic Region’s expert resource on design documentation. The Transportation Engineer 3 will provide direction to project teams to ensure design documentation and plans are completed in accordance with WSDOT and industry standards. As such, this position is critical in understanding project development processes. This position requires fostering an inclusive and healthy work environment and communicating feedback and direction in a respectful and professional manner.
