Engineer 1 - Position Information $69,035.20-$97,552.00
The Construction Materials Engineer is responsible for testing, developing, preparing, reviewing and supervising/coordinating the preparation of project related construction engineering products/materials. This includes but not limited to:  labatory testing, specialized studies, performing on-site field inspections or verification inspections of construction materials for projects, check for compliance with plans, specifications and accepted engineering practices, analysis, computations and estimates. May serve as a lead worker to technician staff.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Engineer 1 - Required Education and Experience 

• Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT); or
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering field; or
• Equivalent four years related engineering experience working under the direct supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
