Qualifications and responsibilities for this Preconstruction Engineering Coordinator opportunity include:

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- 12+ years of professional HVAC and plumbing system design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Must have preconstruction experience
- Support Estimating with schematic design, equipment matrices, and system analysis
- Provide schematic load calculations for system sizing in design-build and design-assist proposals
- Develop schematic drawings for equipment and material take-off and present them to customers
- Reviews the Basis of Design (BOD) to confirm compliance with the Owner's Project Requirements (OPR)
- Provide technical mentoring on HVAC/Hydronic/Plumbing/Process Piping engineering techniques, code references and related software programs (heating & cooling loads, fluid & air transfer, equipment specification and selection)
- Attend project kickoff meetings and design/construction coordination meetings

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
