We are seeking an experienced licensed engineer that will be responsible for assessing and analyzing the structural components of buildings, properties, and other structures. Some of the specific job duties may include:
 

• Conducting field inspections of existing structures to assess their condition and recommend repairs or upgrades
• Perform Threshold Inspections
• Perform SB 4-D Structural Inspections on condominium properties
• Developing and reviewing construction plans and drawings
• Consulting/Collaborating with clients, architects, general contractors, and other engineers on the design and construction of new structures
• Providing consulting, technical advice, and support to contractors, clients, and other stakeholders
• Working on and/or overseeing projects to include but not limited to, engineering consulting, budgeting and plan reviews, scheduling, forensic investigations, owner’s representation, capital reserve studies, etc.
• Keeping up-to-date with developments in structural engineering techniques and technologies.
• Ensure that structures are safe, functional, and meet the required codes and standards.

Candidate Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and act upon the importance of follow up and customer service
• Must have excellent and comprehensive written communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in engineering with no less than 1 year experience in field work
• Must have a P.E. and experience in Structural Engineering
• Ability to work directly with both construction and field staff, as well as corporate management and executives.
• Ability to understand, articulate, and communicate project information, observations, and solutions with construction, field staff, corporate management, executives, clients, public officials, and your teammates
• Ability to be flexible and meet deadlines
• Must have extensive experience and knowledge in industry software programs, and all Microsoft Office products
