OneSparQ is looking for CNC Machinist for a nuclear technology company. This role is onsite in Barberton, OH. All candidates must join the union upon an offer and be open to working any shift.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years’ HBM/VBM or VTL experience
• Knowledge of Numerical Control (NC)
• Knowledge of G and M coded commands

Additional Skills:

• Siemens and/or Fanuc coded commands
• Previous work experience on a 7 axis machine

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC machines for machining operations, ensuring they are properly prepared.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
• Choose appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for specific machining tasks.
• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and address issues that may arise during machining processes.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any maintenance needs as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of machining parameters and part specifications.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality.
