Here is what you will be doing as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer:

The position involves managing multiple projects related to geotechnical and geo-materials. The tasks include client and contractor management, geotechnical evaluation and problem solving, report preparation and review, and preparation of proposals and invoices.
You will need to schedule and oversee project staff, laboratory and field testing. You will also be responsible for conducting geotechnical assessments using computer aided design and analysis software and conducting site visits and investigations to evaluate difficult conditions and assist field staff.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Geotechnical Engineer position include:

- 3+ years of experience in the geotechnical engineering/consulting industry
- B.S. degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)
- Passed FE Exam and eligible for PE exam (or already obtained PE)
- Plan and coordinate site studies
- Perform and oversee geotechnical/geological evaluations, field explorations, and sample collections
- Write, prepare and review proposals and reports for projects of varying size and complexity
- Perform geotechnical lab testing, engineering analysis, and calculations
- Supervise and mentor work of other professionals, technical and support staff
