We are working with a nationally recognized, awarding winning engineering firm in Columbia, MD who is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lighting and power distribution design within the commercial and/or educational sectors. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer opportunity include:

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland and/or Virginia
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices to analyze distribution systems and design lighting systems and buildings’ specialty systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficient knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 72, IECC and other industry codes
- Consulting engineering experience in the commercial, institutional, and retail markets
- Develop electrical plans and specifications for medium to large projects, encompassing tasks such as lighting layouts, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct site investigations, perform energy modeling for LEED projects, and design control systems for refrigeration, contributing to comprehensive electrical design solutions

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
