Job Description:

Legend Brands is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Burlington WA headquarters.  This position implements and maintains quality assurance practices and procedures for our line of products.

Perform as our corrective action coordinator responsible for coordinating and maintaining the corrective action system internally and externally, including feedback system, and reporting of open CARs.  The successful candidate with be the lead auditor for internal system and process audits. Provides reports to management of audit findings and corrective actions and verifies results and maintains permanent records of completed 8D forms.  Provide and evaluate ongoing quality metrics to identify trends, Pareto chart of defects, quarterly reliability-durability metrics, and related charting to guide quality activities for Legend Brands companies.  Additionally, perform root cause analysis and evaluate corrective actions.

Education and/or Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent required:
And a minimum of 3 years’ experience in these areas:
  • Experience in Quality Assurance related programs
  • Quality tools including SPC, Pareto analysis
  • ISO 9000 Quality Management System
Must also possess:
  • Strong skillset in Word, Excel, SAP, Access
  • Experience with FMEA or APQP preferred 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of customers, suppliers, and manufacturing personnel
