Job Description:

Legend Brands is growing and we are seeking an EHS Engineer for our Burlington WA location. This position is responsible for taking the lead on planning, developing, and implementing various Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs at Legend Brands. This role involves working with individuals on our production floor and in leadership team meetings, both in person and remotely.  The successful candidate demonstrates a passion for learning, teamwork, and protecting our people, the environment, and the company from harm.

Must have the ability to perform these functions and have at least 3 years’ experience in these areas:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and related EHS management system software.
  • Ability to research, understand, communicate regulatory standards such as EPA, DOT, OSHA, WSHA and other regulations.
  • Ability to manage tasks and projects independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide training and advice to employees.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or equivalent or occupational health & safety with some environmental experience.
  • Prefer 2-5 years’ experience working in an environmental health & safety role preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Infrequent travel may be necessary to provide support to our other facilities.
