Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Consultant Office Engineer in Vancouver, WA. This position acts as the lead for all construction contract administration of consultant lead projects. This position is responsible for managing administration of multiple projects, supervising the office engineering team, and performing/delegating office engineering functions to ensure that WSDOT projects meet established standards and specifications for construction and documentation. The Consultant Office Engineer trains and mentors each team member. In addition, this position manages documentation changes when required by change order. One of the primary reasons this position exists is the engineering responsibility to create accurate and timely contractor payments in accordance with the Standard Specifications, manuals, policies, and laws while working closely with the Consultant Construction Team Leads, Consultant Manager, Assistant Consultant Manager, and the Contractor.
