Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Field Exploration Office is seeking several technicians to serve as Drillers Helpers. These unique opportunities are for individuals that have extensive experience in the field or who are interested in getting into the field at an entry level. At an entry or intermediate level, the responsibilities associated with the position involve assisting the driller and drilling inspector in advancing geotechnical borings, performing testing, and installing instrumentation in the borings and designing various types of work safety zones. At the advanced level, you will work as a skilled journey level technician performing geotechnical field exploration testing and sampling.
