Position: Data Analyst
This full-time, permanent position requires you to be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure and pipelines that enable efficient data collection, storage, and analysis. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure the smooth flow and availability of data for various business needs. You will also be responsible for extending your qualification to other Microsoft Power Platform technologies to support ongoing research and development as well as new client relationships.
 
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives.

• Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) structured and unstructured data from various sources into our data storage systems.

Optimize data infrastructure and performance to maximize data processing and storage efficiency.

• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline by building and implementing management systems for data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
• Implement and maintain data governance practices, including data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data analysis and engineering, recommending and implementing best practices and tools to enhance data management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and support their data exploration, analysis, and modeling needs.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate data solutions into existing and new applications.

 
 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information engineering
• Education background in software engineering and information networks is also required
• Minimum five years’ experience in computer programming, database construction and administration and data analysis
• Minimum five years’ experience working with the following Microsoft technologies:
  • Azure Data Factory 
  • Azure Synapse
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Microsoft SQL 
  • Azure DevOps
• Certifications:
  • Microsoft: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
  • DataPath: Azure Cloud Data Engineer
  • CertiProf: Scrum Fundation Professional
  • Oracle: PL/SQL & Oracle Data Integrator
  • Microsoft: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
  • DataPath: Databricks Data Engineer
  • DataPath: Machine Learning Engineer
• Other relevant Courses and knowledge:
  • Apache Kafka
  • Apache Airflow
  • Databricks

The offered salary is $120,000 for 40 hours per week, and you are entitled to 15 days of paid vacation days and health benefit plan after three months of employment.
