Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Product Designer opportunity include:

- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Design preferred
- 5+ years of engineering design experience
- Passion for electro-mechanical product design
- Proficiency in materials and fabrication methods for varying production volumes
- Strong analytical skills for design optimization (tolerance stack-ups, thermal, cost, and mass)
- Effective communication of data and design trade-offs; CAD expertise (SolidWorks preferred)
- Responsible for integration of mechanical and electrical components, consolidating and packaging optical systems, connectors, wiring, and sensors
- Utilize mechanical engineering principles to develop functional product designs that meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability criteria

Salary: $90,000 - $160,000 per year, or commensurate with experience.
