Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Specialist 3 to serve as a Multi-Agency Environmental Coordinator. The Multi-Agency Permit Program is located within the Compliance Solutions Branch in the Headquarters Environmental Services Office (ESO). In this role, you will support WSDOT’s mission, goals, Strategic Plan, Executive Order E 1018 (Environmental Policy Statement), and meet WSDOT’s business needs primarily by researching environmental information and preparing environmental documentation, permit applications, and reports to support the duties of all Multi-agency Permit Lead positions in the Program. The Multi-Agency Environmental Coordinator will assist the Program Manager with data tracking and reporting and customer service support. This position also assists customers with coordinating and obtaining U.S. Coast Guard jurisdiction determinations for buried structures less than 30 feet width that do not require a Preliminary Plan from the WSDOT Bridge Office.
