Job Summary:
South Euclid Lyndhurst City School is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and securely. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong understanding of IT systems and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, either remotely or in person, to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cybersecurity measures.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security.
- Train clients on the proper use of hardware, software, and other IT resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT industry.
- Document and maintain accurate records of IT incidents, solutions, and client requests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), are a plus.
