Responsibilities

• Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure that program deliverables are met
• Engage with key vendors to develop technology and align with product roadmap
• Plan, track and maintain program deliverables at every phase of the Product Life Cycle
• Provide innovative solutions to problems
• Maintain and update electrical diagrams and technical documentation as needed
• Create valuable and commercialized intellectual property
• Own the product development and Design to Cost process
• Complete all assigned individual, team, and personal goals
• Apply technical principles, theories and concepts to provide a wide range technical solution
• Maintain frequent contact with the project team, peers and sometimes customers 
• Provide engineering and technical support for implementation and integration of control systems
• Participate in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work
• Prepare appropriate documentation when appropriate for assigned projects on time

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline); Experience might be considered in lieu of
• 3+ years of Design, Analysis, or Test Engineering experience is ideal; a recent graduate might be considered
• Programming experience with scientific computer languages (MatLab, Python or similar is ideal) 
• Experience with electrical circuit design, electrical integration and test platform development
• Experience with test platform design and implementation including configuration of TCP/IP based data acquisition instrumentation and controls
