We are working with a virtual design and construction consulting firm who is ready to hire a skilled VDC Lead in the Austin area. They are seeking a leader with proficiency in Revit and a background in process piping who can manage other designers and interface with clients. Qualifications and responsibilities for this VDC Lead opportunity include:

- 5+ years of experience using BIM/VDC
- Proficient in Revit
- Field experience in an MEP trade highly preferred
- Knowledge of Micron/Intel is a plus
- Skilled in understanding constructability of process piping and chemical piping
- Previous experience in oil & gas, food processing, or semiconductor industries is preferred
- Continuously improve expertise in selected trades, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more
- Engage with internal project teams, external stakeholders (Architects, Engineers, Contractors), and Construction Managers to support project success
- Provide technical assistance to project teams, act as a project lead when needed, and assist in training colleagues
- Ensure seamless integration of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and BIM processes, stay updated on industry trends, and oversee quality control checks for compliance with established BIM standards

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
