We are looking for an Electrical Engineer III – Sustaining! 

Pay: $105,000 - $130,000 DOE

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Works to refine existing designs for production
• Conducts troubleshooting and process flow refinement. 
• Supports the electrical engineering group in all aspects of design, development, test, analysis, and manufacturing.
• Creates formal or informal electrical engineering drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing requirements, and inspection/quality assurance specifications in accordance with appropriate standards and specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Typically possesses 4 to 7 years of aerospace, defense, and/or avionics experience
• Detailed knowledge of military specifications and industry standards including IPC 
• Proven experience in leading design and development of robust hardware
• Experience with testing/troubleshooting/failure analysis techniques
• Familiarity with PCB signal integrity, layout and grounding principles
• Proficient experience with electrical test equipment including oscilloscope, DMM, power supply, DAQ, logic analyzer, network analyzer, etc.
• Familiarity with FPGA design, development, and test
• Familiarity with C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab, Verilog, VHDL
• Proficient experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools such as OrCAD and PSPICE/LTSPICE
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
