This posting is for an onsite position supporting F-15 engineering at Robins AFB, GA. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide engineering assistance, troubleshooting, and problem solving to the F-15 maintenance depot at Robins AFB and to field locations operating F-15’s. This support includes answering field and depot requests for engineering assistance, providing engineering and airworthiness support for modifications, investigating and determining the resolution of systems problems, and performing logistics engineering functions such as part source searches, market surveys and determining first article test requirements. Responsibilities may also include designing, developing and testing prototypes of small, simple pieces of ground support equipment.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering with a minimum of 15 years directly related experience is required
Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics
Ability to interpret textual descriptions of intended system operation, and to make predictions of behavior when described systems fail
Ability to devise and execute tests to confirm operation theories and verify faults
Knowledge of fighter aircraft electrical systems, and their interfaces to and interactions with other systems such as hydraulics, fuel, air data, flight controls, environmental controls and avionics
Knowledge of flight-line protocol and security regulations
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with users, maintainers, supply personnel and supervision
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Valid drivers license with low risk driving record
US citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Direct experience with F-15 electrical system, avionics, flight controls
Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities
