Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) I-405/SR 167 Program is currently seeking three Transportation Engineers (TE2) to serve as Assistant Office Engineers in Kirkland, WA. These positions support the department’s mission of providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options by ensuring highway construction projects are built in compliance with the contract documents and documented accurately in a timely manner. At the direction of the Office Engineer, the Assistant Office Engineer is responsible for all project documentation functions, including electronic document control systems, contractor and design-builder submittals, and final payment and project records. This position is critical in fostering a respectful and healthy work environment with focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
