We are working with a growing civil and environmental engineering firm in San Antonio who is immediately ready to hire a Hydraulic Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a PE in Texas and a minimum of 5 years of experience related to water supply, drainage systems, and flooding. This unique opportunity will allow you to work directly with the owner of the firm while learning the ropes and having the chance to take the lead upon their retirement.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Hydraulic Engineer opportunity include:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working as a Hydraulic Engineer
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software
- Must be willing to travel to various project sites
- Will study the effect of water and will provide expertise and guidance on projects related to water supply, drainage systems, and flooding
- Conduct field studies to identify and propose solutions for issues in hydraulic facilities, testing strategies for problem resolution
- Research, recommend, and plan infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and maintenance to enhance overall functionality
- Design and test hydraulic systems using CAD software, predicting equipment effects and selecting appropriate materials and equipment for projects

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
