Roles & Responsibilities:

Design fixtures and electromechanical systems for internal system validation team use
Develop comprehensive system and sub-system level test specifications, manage and execute test plans, and provide feedback to development teams
2D and 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
Work closely with cross-functional team members and clients to produce high quality engineering solutions
Create and maintain Bill of Materials, and similar project documents
Other administrative functions as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience in System Validation role for consumer electronics or related field
Skilled in reading and interpreting electric, electronic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Strong written and oral communication skills the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Experience in technical documentation and report generation.
Basic networking/communication knowledge (such as Modbus, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, protocols) required.

Desired Skills:

Tool and fixture design and GD &T
Experience with Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)
Design and application knowledge of ergonomic and machine safety standards
Experience with panel design, motion and motor control systems, and logic controller programming, HMI, C#, Python, C, using SoC and DRY techniques is a plus.
Experience using EPlan Electric P8 and Solidworks 2016 or newer preferred
