Qualifications and responsibilities for this Diesel Fleet Mechanic opportunity include:

- 2 – 3 years of experience with diesel trucks and heavy equipment
- Overhauling of diesel engines, brake service, and repair, proper service of equipment, electrical knowledge, troubleshooting skills of all equipment, machine shop familiarization
- Ability to operate both a manual and automatic transmission
- Responsible for in-house maintenance, as well as job-site service calls.
- Some weekend work can occur, and overtime hours will be required as needed.
- Experience working in ready-mix trucks is highly desirable
- CDL license and knowledge of paving and milling equipment is a plus
- Respond to service calls for a variety of job-site equipment, ensuring proper diagnosis and repair
- Conduct major and minor repair tasks, following technical guidelines and manuals
- Maintain fleet safety and operational standards, assist crews, and uphold workspace organization and tool upkeep

Salary: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
