Job Description:
Hazelett is looking for a self-motivated Technical Sales Representative with extensive knowledge in the metals industry to market Hazelett’s technology and process to potential customers and promote after-market parts to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze the global aluminum, copper, and lead metals markets and identify potential market segments/customers.
Coordinate sales efforts/activities in conjunction with others within the organization and consortium partners.
Identify and facilitate product innovation and improvement projects that aim to meet the market’s needs.
Serve as the primary interface between Hazelett and potential customers from introduction through project realization.
Interface with existing customers to introduce new products, identify opportunities for R&D, and promote the use of OEM parts.
Attend industry events (i.e. trade shows, conferences, association meetings, etc.) to promote the Hazelett process and to stay abreast of industry trends.
Provide feedback and suggestions to Hazelett’s R&D department regarding potential improvements to the Hazelett casting process.
Fulfill the organization’s vision of its products and effectively communicate their status and path forward to relevant/affected parties within the organization.
Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering to identify opportunities for cost reductions.
Effectively write reports/emails to potential customers and existing customers related to technical products.
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and relevant work experience.
Ability and desire to travel both domestically and internationally.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop creative solutions to problems and work toward resolution/agreement.
Demonstrates excellent follow-through on projects.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Knowledge and use of integrated business systems.
