Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanical Engineer opportunity include:

- 3 – 5 years of HVAC industry experience
- Proficient in Energy Pro Software, AutoCAD, and layout
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems such as heat pumps, package AC systems, split AC systems, VRF systems, chillers, ventilation systems, etc.
- Must be familiar with HVAC system design and calculations, as well as California building and mechanical codes and ASHRAE standards
- Perform HVAC heat load analysis and Title 24 Energy compliance reports
- Prepare mechanical drawings for construction and city permits
- Perform HVAC system design calculations, duct and pipe sizing and routing, detail system design of Commercial and Industrial HVAC system involving heat load calculation, and preparation of plans and specifications

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
